Who is this for?
Designed for passionate psychology students or recent graduates, aspiring or young mental health practitioners, who are keen to enhance their therapeutic practice.
The workshop will focus on:
- Therapist qualities: being curious, non-judgmental, empathic and reliable, and what this looks like in a therapeutic context.
- Therapist's position and power: The importance of creating safety and trust, and the role of 'language'.
- Therapist's use of 'self': Working with your own potential resources and biases.
